3. How we use information

  • Run the Platform and complete ticket sales and deliveries.
  • Process payments and seller payouts, including holds, offsets and clawbacks.
  • Verify identity, stop fraud and bots, and comply with law, including tax reporting and ticket-resale statutes.
  • Handle support and the Buyer Guarantee.
  • Improve the product, measure performance and personalize event discovery.
  • Send marketing where allowed. You may opt out of promotional messages at any time.

4. How we share information

  • With the other party to a sale, only as needed to deliver tickets.
  • With service providers for payments, hosting, analytics, communications, KYC, fraud and support, under contracts that limit use.
  • With advertising and measurement partners for cross-context advertising unless you have opted out or we have a Global Privacy Control signal we must honor.
  • With Event Organizers or official transfer systems when that is required to put tickets in the buyer’s name.
  • When law, legal process, safety or a fraud investigation requires it.
  • In a merger, financing or sale of assets, on the standards in this Policy.

We do not sell personal information for money. Under some state laws we may “share” information for cross-context advertising. We do not sell or share sensitive personal information. We do not use seller tax identifiers or bank details for advertising.

5. Rights and choices

Depending on your state you may have the right to know and access, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing and targeted advertising, limit use of sensitive personal information, appeal a denial, and be free of discrimination for using these rights.

Email support@gotribuno.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We will verify you. An authorized agent must show authority.

Where law requires it we treat a valid Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of sale, sharing or targeted advertising for that browser. A cookie banner is not that opt-out. After a valid signal we stop sale and sharing as soon as reasonably possible and no later than the statutory period.

To opt out of sale or sharing, email support@gotribuno.com with the subject “Do Not Sell or Share,” or enable Global Privacy Control. To limit sensitive personal information, use the subject “Limit Sensitive PI.”

We respond in the time the applicable statute sets. To appeal a denial, reply to the decision with the subject “Privacy Appeal.”

6. Sensitive personal information

Seller government identifiers, dates of birth and financial account numbers are collected to verify identity, pay you and file tax forms. We do not use them to infer characteristics for advertising. We do not require a buyer’s precise geolocation. We may see an approximate location from IP for fraud and tax.

7. Cookies

Cookies are small text files on your device. We also use pixels, web beacons, SDKs and local storage.

A mobile number is used for transactional messages about transfers, orders, security and Guarantee claims. Marketing texts require a separate opt-in and are not required to buy or sell. Reply STOP to marketing texts. Transactional texts needed to finish a delivery may continue.

9. Retention, security and children

We keep information as Section 2 states and as needed for law, disputes, fraud prevention and contract enforcement. When we no longer need it we delete it or de-identify it.
